Big Messes:the Renter's Leavings

As I entered the home our renter's had recently vacated I was astounded by what I saw. Liquor bottles covering most of the floors, bedding in almost every room, discarded clothing and general trash everywhere. Beyond the clutter I found wholes punched in walls, notes written on the walls, toilets obviously uncleaned for their entire 6 month stay, it was awful. I knew that it would take more work than I could accomplish alone. I'd done work for an oil tank removal company in the past, and this is up there with one of the toughest jobs I'd ever done.
I called in others from our rental company and started with 5 able bodies working to clean and restore the home. With all working from sunrise to sunset we were able to remove all of the trash (filling an entire large dumpster) patch the holes in the walls, clean and sanitize and make the home livable again. I am quite glad we were able to clean the entire mess in one day and return the next to repaint and repair the few remaining issues.
