Having major issues with my bt line

I have been a bt customer now for some time, i have never really had any major problems just the odd little glitch. A few weeks ago though our phone started cutting off part way through calls which is very irritating when you have been speaking for a while and have to then callback. I emailed bt on numerous occasions only to get a automated response back from them. I searched for how do i phone bt because i honestly could not find a way of contacting them other than the email. I hadve tried everything in my power to fix it first though, i have swapped the handsets around and the filters, i've even went out and bought a brand new phone to try but the issue still exists. I can only assume it is either a fault in my area of something at bt's end. Thinking about it though all my neighbours are ok because i made a point of going round to check with them. If i cannot find number for bt i may need to cancel my service with them and move to another supplier who can actually supply me with a phone line.
