I love buying gifts for people - whether it's homewares or gadgets. First, I like to ask people to write a list of items they want. I like having long lists so that way people don't know what they are getting until they open the item. I like to go on different websites and stores and find the best deals that way people can get more things. I love this time of the year because I get started on my Christmas shopping. Seeing the joy on my family and friends' faces when they open a gift is so special. It makes me feel good knowing I got them something they want. I really like to buy things people won't normally buy for themselves. My sister, for example, would never spend fifty dollars on a bottle perfume but she loves it. My favorite person to buy for is my six year old niece. She gets so excited about opening gifts whether it is a one dollar gift or a fifty dollar gift. This year for Christmas I got her a rock painting kit. I know she is going to love it. I can't wait for her to open it! Buying gifts is so exciting for me! |

When I browse motorhomes for sale, I see people have it easy these days with the latest motorhomes giving them a home from home.
When I was ten years old my parents took me to a holiday camp with my sister. Back then my family didn't have a lot of money and the cheapest accommodation available was the caravans. I think everyone expected the caravan to be tiny but when we arrived at the holiday camp, we were all happily surprised to discover that the caravan was actually a lot bigger than it looked. Inside it was spacey and comfortable. It had two bedrooms plus a couch that unfolded into a third double bed. The only problem was that all the caravans looked the same, and I mean EXACTLY the same. One morning during the holiday my mother sent me to the on site grocery store to get some eggs for breakfast. As a treat for going I was allowed to go swimming when I got back. So after hurrying to the shops and getting the eggs, I ran straight home and the round trip took me no longer than fifteen minutes. I found my caravan and noticed that the side door was still open, so in I went, waving the eggs in my hand and calling for my mother. But everyone had vanished. My dad was no longer sitting on the couch reading the paper, my sister was no longer at the small table area watching the black and white television and my mother was no where to be seen in the kitchen area. I walked around the caravan slowly, calling out for my dad and the rest of my family. I couldn't find them anywhere in the caravan. Suddenly I heard a noise outside and saw two strangers a man and a woman, walking towards the caravan. As scared as a ten year old boy would be, I ran into the bedroom and hid by the open window. That was when I saw them, my parents. They were in another caravan, I could see them through the open door of the neighbouring caravan. I had walked into the wrong caravan! Quickly I climbed out the window and ran over to the right caravan. I gave my mother the eggs and was scorned for taking so long. After breakfast which was delicious, I was allowed to go swimming after all. I never told anybody about my experience among the flock of identical caravans. Until now. |

Every country brings competition when it comes to producing workers. Some countries can bear more patience and perseverance while some has little of it. When it comes to working abroad, or any places there is in the world, there will always be a nationality that would top. One of the known people who are hard working is Filipinos. No wonder most of the Filipinos prefer working abroad because they get more praises and are even given big salaries compared to their hometowns. Another country that produces hard working workers is from the United Emirates. Since most of them are a bit locked up to their conservative cities, they prefer trying to get jobs from other countries. Luckily, british passports dubai residents to visit and even work for their country. They are prioritized more because they were more likely exposed to a more liberated working place. There are still a lot of other nationalities that can offer good service to those who are willing to work. As long as they keep their race on top, bearing in mind their culture and opening their minds to any civilizing adjustments, they will surely succeed. |

A lot of people ask why they should get an individual medical insurance when they don’t often use them in the first place. The answer to that is what if the time comes that you will use it? A medical insurance is something that you pay for yearly hoping that you won’t find the time to use it. However, if the instance does arrive and you will need it, at least you can rest assures that there is someone that has your back.
In my case, when I suddenly needed an emergency operation, we didn’t know how much money it will cost. Good thing I have my own insurance and we didn’t have to pay for anything. All the years that I didn’t use my insurance was paid back more than twice the amount and we were really thankful that I had one. Just imagine, if I didn’t have a medical insurance, I would have had to raise the amount just to get my treatment started. |

I am looking to make an application for our replacement passports next week. I have picked up the application forms and all the other bits and pieces i need to go with them. I am having a lot of trouble finding the fees though. I ended up having to google passport application fees to find out what they are. I am surprised there was not document or guide to explain the fees to me as i could very well have missed it if i was not being so fussy about it. I am sending these off on the post office service which i have been told is about a 2 - 3 week turn around time. This should give us plenty of time as we are travelling in about 6 weeks currently. I am hoping that all is ok though because there are so many rules and regulations you have to meet like the photo requirments and the signatures fitting in tiny boxes. It seems like a bit a joke to be honest but i suppose they have their reasons for doing it this way. |

An exchange student from Japan arrived at our class yesterday. She was introduced by our homeroom teacher Ms. Collins and she spoke in a slightly slow manner with a slight accent. Her name was Shiori Yanagami and she will be spending the rest of her high school years with us. Maria who has been a huge fan of anything and everything Japanese was the very first student to befriend her. Maria speaks a little Japanese and Shiori&rsquos face lit up when Maria addressed her in Japanese. The two became fast friends and Maria became Shiori&rsquos English language tutor and in return Shiori helped Maria improve her Japanese. Since Shiori is an exchange student of different nationality she has to go to the immigration every 2 months or so. Shiori once asked Maria to accompany her to the immigration office to process what she calls &ldquopassport additional visa pages&rdquo. This happened during Shiori&rsquos third year of stay in the country. By that time her English has been close to flawless with very minimal accent and Maria&rsquos Japanese has improved tremendously. |

Edinburgh international airport has all of the common parking areas of a airport. There is short stay, medium stay and of course, long stay parking at Edinburgh airport. Edinburgh airport also has valet parking. Edinburgh airport also offer a pick up parking service. I always use valet parking when I am on business because the service is of a high quality and it saves lots of time and effort in finding a car parking space. Edinburgh airport car parking is made even easier by a number of off site car parking companies who you can book your space with before you get there on the telephone or on the internet. Booking your space sooner rather than later is a great way to save some money in addition to a lot of time too as your parking space will be available for you when you turn up so the time it takes to check your car in is reduced. |
