The garage is most probably the most ignored space in the house yet it contains the most number of items. It provides the extra space you need for storing your tools and equipment as well as stuff like out of season clothes, toys outgrown by the kids and old furniture you have moved out from the main house.
If you give it some time and do some spring cleaning you will realize that the garage contains just about a lot of junk that you should be getting rid off.
Once you let go of these things there is so much space you can save and it can actually make the garage very useful and functional for other purposes. The next thing you can do is invest in garage storage units. These could be in the form of additional shelf space, cabinets and container boxes with roller wheels which you can use to store and organize the stuff you chose to retain.
