The desire for privacy in bereaved families

When one looses their loved ones, it is important that they are given time to mourn before including the whole public, especially if the person was a celebrity. This is because they feel it is lack of respect for the family and also the dead celebrity for people to come outside their house and stand there mourning while others are leaving flowers without their names. It is not only a story, but it is exactly what happened to heath ledger when he passed away due to drug overdose. His family had to ask for some privacy from the media people and his fans that came to stand right outside their compound hoping to get a picture of one of the family members mourning, and this privacy was granted to them. During this period they were able to give their statements concerning the loss of one of their family members and after a few days, memorial tributes were also communicated. His body was later cremated with a few family members invited for the funeral, and they were able to get over his death sooner than they thought.
