Photos of the RMS Titanic in 1912 and 2010
More recent images of the Titanic have been taken. These Titanic photos show more clear and precise pictures of the wreckage and some of the artifacts below. The pictures only add to the myriad of other pictures which exist. Most interesting are the pictures of Titanic artifacts, such as the brass letters which were found on the grand staircase to point passengers to the various levels of the ship. There are also pictures of artifacts which range from men’s shoes, toiletries and perfume bottles. These artifacts help show the grandeur of the boat but they still leave some things up to question. Most people know the Titanic was classified as a luxury steam ship and among the most fancy of its time. However, there is one thing Titanic photos do not show and that is the evidence of this extravagance. There are not many pictures actually showing the inside of the ship before the wreck, leaving a lot to the imagination.
