Required Forms & Paperwork

To include with your registration packet:

• Media Release - All participants at Roundup must sign (or have their parent/guardian sign) the photo release form and include it as part of their registration.
• Health Form (you may use your own state health form if you like, but a form for each attendee must be turned in as part of your packet!)
• Your Printed and Signed Authorization Form

Choose your Participation Type: Applies to Everyone

Each person—including guests—registering for Western National Roundup must choose one of the following participation types:

Roundup: Delegate, Chaperon or Guest
Consumer Decision Making: Contestant, Coach or Guest
Family and Consumer Science Presentations: Contestant, Coach or Guest
FCS Bowl: Contestant, Coach or Guest
Hippology: Contestant, Coach or Guest
Horse Bowl: Contestant, Coach or Guest
Horse Demonstration Individual: Contestant, Coach or Guest
Horse Demonstration Team: Contestant, Coach or Guest
Horse Public Speaking: Contestant, Coach or Guest
Horse Judging: Contestant, Coach or Guest
Meats Judging: Contestant, Coach or Guest
Livestock Judging: Contestant, Coach or Guest
Prepared Speech: Contestant, Coach or Guest
Impromptu Speech: Contestant, Coach or Guest

(For registration, "Guests" are non-delegates, non-contestants: parents, siblings, and friends are "Guests"

All those in attendance at Western National Roundup must register for one of the following Attendance Packages:

Optional Packages and Activities to Choose during Registration

These activities are open to all Western National Roundup participants, coaches, parents and guests and will appear on the registration forms as options for everyone. These items are optional and are not required!

Photo Package: $20

(Included for free with package A and D. It is an optional add-on for B and C) for $20. The Roundup Photo Package includes the state photo, the awards photo, and a slide show of the photos taken throughout the event. (Remember, State photos are taken immediately after the Friday opening banquet.)

B Colorado Springs - $45 (full day tour)
C Rocky Mountain National Park - $45 (full day tour)
D Colorado State University - $30 (full day)
E Johnson and Wales University - $15 (half day tour)

Please Note: Tour F (the Ski Trip) is handled separately from our online registration system. All attending the Ski Trip must (1) complete the separate ski trip form found on this website for each person going skiing, and (2) send the ski forms for your group, along with a separate check payable to the 'Colorado Ski Academy' and mail your ski packet directly to the Colorado Ski Academy. Do not pay for the ski tour through our registration system; the ski fee is not part of Roundup registration and we are unable to pay them directly.

Pepsi Center: Wednesday Evening

$25 per person

This fantastic Night at the Pepsi Center includes transportation, food, drink and private party along with one of the following (due to facility scheduling): skate on NHL ice with option of playing broomball, shoot hoops on the NBA basketball court, or attend a Denver Nuggets basketball game. Final NBA/NHL scheduling and Pepsi Center facility setup will not be decided before our registration system opens, but nonetheless each participant wishing to attend the Pepsi Center activities on Wednesday evening will need to select this item in our registration system when they register for Roundup, as the facility will be unable to accomodate late add-ons for this event.

Trail Dust Steakhouse: Thursday Evening

$35 per person without transportation or $45 per person with transportation

Each participant wishing to have dinner at the Trail Dust Steakhouse on Thursday will need to pre-register through the Roundup registration. The Trail Dust is known for its fun and relaxed atmosphere...they even cut off your tie! There will be a choice of chicken, top sirloin and salmon along with salad, sides, dessert and drinks. In addition, there will be time allowed for the Pin Swap and getting to know everyone along with dancing to the live band at the Trail Dust. No refunds will be given for this event if cancelled after December 10.

Sweatshirts: $25

Hoodies will be white heather with the Roundup logo on the front left pocket area and a colorful "Your Time to Shine" Roundup theme on the back. Sweatshirts come in adult sizes S, M, L, XL, XXL and XXXL. Pre-ordering is necessary as there will be very few sweatshirts in stock at Roundup. Please note that this is an optional cost to each participant and more than one hoodie can be purchased at a time.

Late Registration Fee: $20 per person

Registration is open from October 6 to November 15. A $20 per person late registration fee will automatically be added to all registrations entered from November 16 to December 10. Registration will close at midnight December 10.
